taxi or car from bkk airport to nong phai phetchabun

I want to get a car or taxi to nong phai from bkk airport but being quoted about 4700 baht is this reasonable?

Any recommendations?

Depends on driver and type of car, if its a typical taxi, the 3500-4 is about right, why not go on the bus? only about 260 baht.

Recline, stretch out, probably sleep most of the way, more comfortable too for a 5hr trip.
