Dusit Zoo official: No whistles or loud noise, please
The Sunday Nation

BANGKOK: -- Ahead of the anti-government protesters' march to Dusit Zoo in Bangkok today, the deputy head of the Zoological Park Organisation of Thailand yesterday urged people not to blow whistles or make a lot of noise, saying it would startle the animals and make them tense.

Wisid Wichasilpa said his office had already prepared measures, including arranging guards within the zoo area, preparing a week's supply of animal food and moving sensitive animals to other zoos or at least away from the parking lot. The demonstrators are expected to camp out as it is right across from Parliament. Wisid asked the protesters not to blow whistles or make noises that may disturb animals and to not march past animals' cages.
