Bangkok public urged: Stay inside from 10pm

People in Bangkok should avoid going out on to the streets from 10pm on Sunday night to 5am for safety reasons, Deputy Prime Minister Pracha Promnok said. Pol Gen Pracha urged cooperation from the public, asking people to stay inside, but insisted that the situation was under government control.

Suthep said he decided to meet with Yingluck because the army, navy and RTAF commanders were also there. That was transparent: Suthep.

The meeting today was a good sign that shows that the military chooses to take Thailand's side: Suthep.

Sutep: if police lays down weapons, we are willing to embrace them. Because they are civil servant for the people too.

From tomorrow, Suthep told all government officials to strike from work and take people's side.

Suthep said he told Yingluck encroaching into government agencies might be necessary and they will face the result...

Thai protest leader meets PM, refuses to back down
