A close aide of his Majesty the King was once asked him if there was no longer a King in Thailand what would happen?

His answer was: "There will be the addition of one more Thai citizen called Bhumibol"

Tears started flowing from the eyes of everyone who heard his majesty's reply.

Long Live His Majesty the King

Long Live The King!

Fellow Thai people, if you really love and care about the King, have you ever thought how much His heart hurts when you people are fighting each other?

The Father will never be happy to see his children going for each other's throat.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY H.M. KING BHUMIBOL

Greetings and Best Wishes on the occasion of your 86th Birthday Celebrations.

I still remember very fondly the State Visit of Their Majesties King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit to New Zealand 52 years ago in1962.

It was the first visit of reigning foreign royalty to New Zealand and as a New Zealander proud of our own Royal Family Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh it was an exciting time for all New Zealanders to welcome the King and Queen of Thailand.

I have followed very closely the wonderful achievements of the Thai Royal family and the love shown by the Thai people and I respect you for the love and devotion you have shown to your beloved King and Queen.

Long Live the King !

The King and Queen were scheduled to take the one hour flight from the capital city Wellington in New Zealand’s North Island to Christchurch City in the South Island but because of bad weather the airports were closed and the King and Queen traveled by the Rangatira overnight Inter Island Ferry.

The King and Queen of Thailand were among the many VIPs who traveled between Wellington and Lyttelton in Christchurch aboard the first Rangatira but the only time it ever flew a Royal Standard.
