Mr. Goran Jurec aged 40 from New Zealand made his way to Pattaya Police Station on Monday Night and informed officers that he had just been assaulted by a gang of young Thai men on the Pratamnak Mountain. (copied from Pattaya City News)

So here's this guy with the front of his shirt covered with blood sitting across the table from the 3 criminals with their heads hung low.....And he's kind of just sitting there calmly with what appears to be a sort of smirk?

Here's the question - If this was you would you jump over that table and start slamming the crap out of them like Roy Jones Jr.? I would police or no police I would for sure get 1-2 of them before the MIB got me off them :o ....How about you??

Chances are that the three Thai guys are going to come after you and continue the assault just as soon as they are released from the police station.

If you physically attack them in the police station, chances are that rather than just assault you, they are going to put a bullet in your brain...........if you have a brain that is. :o

I couldn't care less if I spent the night in jail or 3 months for that matter, yup even if they deported me it would be worth it....

In the nightly Philippines News they frequently bring victim and perpretrator together before perp gets put in the jail. Most times the victim takes a few swings at the perp with police watching and camera rolling. Filipino vs. Filipino tho; I agree it would be unwise as a foreigner. Sometimes the camera is still rolling as guy gets put in the cell and gets assaulted again by cell-mates

Wednesday 10th May 2006

Unexpected update on yesterdays New Zealand Bike Theft case.

An unexpected update now from a story we ran on yesterdays program regarding the assault on a New Zealand national in South Pattaya. Police arrested three men, who were later prepared for a transfer to the local Young Offenders Prison. However, as the transfer took place, the three men attempted to escape. All Police units were called in to search for the three men who spilt up making it harder to locate them. We can report though, that each young man was re-captured. The 14 year old escapee was located on Pattaya Beach at the intersection with Central Pattaya and the other two aged 17 and 18 were found hiding in a disused building also in Central Pattaya. Police tell us that handcuffs used for the three men were intended for adults and each of the three suspects were able to remove the cuffs. They were restrained again using smaller sized cuffs and will now face additional charges of attempting to escape from Police detention.

Would'nt of happened if SDH had opened a can of whoop ass on them. :o

If you could take 1 or 2 of them before being pulled ofrf by a bunch of coppers why would you have not taken 1 or 2 down in the previous fracas?

Saw these three youths on Pattaya City News.....looked fairly young to me......not really the types you would want to give a really good beating to.

Im referring to the two youths sat in the back of the pick-up.

Now these are guys I could quite easily get nasty with.....couldn't at the time......much to my regret.....due to various mitigating circumstances.
