VisaEd
Has anyone got any recommendations for a good Christmas day lunch buffet in Bangkok? Ideally around the 2,000 baht mark not including free flow booze. The Orchid Cafe at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit looks quite good at just under 2,000 baht, but doesn't cover Rossini's and the other area which usually have a good Sunday buffet. Any other affordable options for a mid-day feast? Thanks.

theoldgit
The Huntsman pub at The Landmark hotel, and The Londoner brew pub are both doing Christmas Day buffet lunches for under your budget, both on Sukhumvit.
AdamBangkok
went to the JW Marriott on Sukhumvit soi 2 last year. Think it was 2,200 ++ not including booze. really good food, and a nice atmosphere.

wordchild
I used to be a big fan of the Sheraton at Christmas (been going there for the last 10 years or more) but I feel there has been a significant decline in the quality over the last few years. Last year went for Christmass lunch at the Sheraton , pretty average considering the price and we resolved never again. Went to the Hyatt for New Year which was outstanding and way better than SGS. I have also heard good reports for the Huntsman Christmas buffet and may give that a go this year but stick with the Hyatt for New Years Eve.
