I may be buying a new car as I may have a buyer for my pickup.

I have bought from two Toyota dealerships over the past 10 years.

My question is about the difference in BKK and Phuket dealers (where I live).

As an example, Honda refuses to sell anything to me unless I had over 50% for the car, plus the workpermit, etc.

Nissan allows 25% in Phuket.

Nissan allows %20 in Bkk.

Toyota does not have the car I want (smaller midsize 4 doors) at a reasonable price, so I will avoid them this time. And their website truly sucks, with 2009 Yaris classified as new and pages not showing up.

I keep going back to Nissan. For their website alone, I would buy from them. Excellent English, financial calculator, brochures in English, if you dig deeper.

Susuki similar to Honda with the %50 down.

So it seems I may have to go to BKK. May have told me to buy there. I get better value for money, albeit same price, but with more options.

Your experiences as a white face with a workpermit, is appreciated

Thanks.
