farmerjo
Adelaide had 6 more scoring shots and lost it.Never saw any of it,what was the reason pressure from the melbourne backs ? Melbourne were heavy in defence and a lot of forced points. Also they kicked 5 or 6 goals in a row at start of game and basically did enough to hold on and win. Injuries crippled crows rotations in the end.
ripstanley
Sydney Swans won by 79 points. They should have won by more. It was good to see Goodes playing again. He showed his class. Without Money Bags (MB) they showed that many players can score goals. I hope his injury will keep him out for next week.

I am currently in rehab at the moment, Saints Anonymous and heavily medicated. Hi everyone. My name is Martin and I am a Saints supporter and a Saints Aholic. I have been suffering from this illness for many years and with the help of my fellow Saint Aholics I know I can overcome. Oh what the F'ck we are playing Carlton next week and I need one last fix and if we lose this that one then I'm back in rehab.

beechbum
Shot ourselves in the foot in tje 2nd q, should have gone into 1/2 time 7 or 8 goals up , piss poor effort and would have no probs seeing gaff traded. Will27
Only got 1 game today on Australia Network so missed the Port/Geelong game. Was watching the Hawthorn/Richmond game and had to turn it off midway through the 3rd quarter after Cyril kicked his 4th for the quarter and Bruce nearly had an accident in his pants. One of the guys said about Cyril "you'd pay to watch him train" whereas Bruce countered with "you'd pay to clean his boots". He really takes the enjoyment out of it for me. Haven't Richmond flown under the radar this year! They're 13th and are only a bee's dick in front of GWS and they have Geelong next week. All the games seem pretty straight forward next week with the possible exception of Coll/Carlton and WCE/Freo?? North & Gold Coast? I should've listened to you mate. Will27
After reading the Commission of audit paper where they recommend the govt cease funding for the Australia Network and listening to Malcolm Tunball on Q&A yesterday, it looks as if it will be cannned. Turnball basically said that with the internet now, satellite services are pretty much obsolete. Hard to argue with that even though my internet is crap. A/N is an expensive luxury methinks. But I would be gutted when/if it goes as that will probably mean no more footy for me. I don't know how long the current contract is or if anyone like Sky would be interested in replacing it. Worrying time......

Worrying time...... Haven't read the paper yet, will get around to it... maybe... In any case, I'm surprised by Turnball's comments, internet has a place in the market and is certainly (at least here in BKK) decent enough speeds to sustain it, but I think what the Hon Member for Wentworth fails to understand is "Geoblocking", all the networks do it. Otherwise if they do shitcan it, chooka, you still got that AFL Live freebie? I'm still confident that Murdoch, through Fox, will pick it up.
