Australian Rules Football 2014 - Tipping, Chat & The Dream Team

Just looking at our footy tipping site and notice 77% are backing Richmond

against GWS. I'm not too sure about this one. GWS have some good inclusions.

Imagine the ramifications if Richmond lose this one!

When in doubt, I pick against North so will pick Geelong.

Port v Hawks should be a good one but Hawthorn are decimated.

Will still be interesting to see how Port go against them.

For me, Carlton and Adelaide is the hardest one to pick. If it was in Ade,

I'd pick the Crows every day of the week. This could be Carlton's last chance.

Yeah I'm with you on this khun Will27, after all, you are the hansum man with good heart! ;)

GWS my roughy for the week - and I even double checked to make sure it stuck ;)

I did a series of doctors tests this week and for once came out of it with a good report.

I told my wife I definitely have a good heart, and I have the hospital reports to prove it! She still looked somewhat doubtful.

Now, if I can work out where the plastic surgery unit is I'll start working on the hansum part!

I think ill stick with Geelong for tonight.

As KhunWill said, if in doubt tip against North.

We've been seduced by North before BookMan.

They're liable to come out and give Geelong a belting

but I ain't going to risk it.

There's almost nothing worse than your Friday night tip losing

Is Malthouse having a dig at Eddie?

Either way, I guess it's ok to call a player a rapist thoughwhistling.gif

Rucci: Former Magpies coach Mick Malthouse says the AFL is not always tough on racism

MICHAEL Malthouse is not one to miss an opportunity. And the veteran AFL coach knew he would

- as he put it - “create some angst” by entering the racial vilification debate with a thinly veiled hit at

his former boss at Collingwood, Eddie McGuire.

U are a wise man KhunWill.

I like North over Geelong, but too many times burnt.

The mummy is back for GWS this week, which could make a huge difference

When u pick the first game of the round wrong it is very disappointing...much like my tipping so far this year

facepalm.gif Advantage Rip and Will.

North showed they have flair if the coach lets them.

Swallow needs 4 games in the vfl and does anyone want Sam Wright for free.

We need Robbie Tarant fit if were to progress to finals.

Only one tipster did not tip Geelong. It was good to watch on AN. I still wonder how much longer though.

GWS V Rich and Adel V Carlton may separate the leader board this week

So what have you tipped. It looks like GWS and Adelaide. Is that correct?

I have tipped Adelaide. I am undecided about GWS v Richmond. I have Richmond at the moment but i might have an epiphany tomorrow and change to GWS.

I took Adelaide over the Blues and GWS over Richmond.

Big Mummy coming back in the deciding factor..

I'm with BookMan and Mr smith on this one, both hard calls. I have Richmond (I'm not sure why) and Carlton.

Think I will stick with Richmond and hope they improve after being slayed in the press.

Might wait until the last minute to see if any changes for the Ade/Cartlon game.

I think last nights result of 20 points flattered North.

They never looked as if they were going to win it.

Was waiting for Bruce to ask Duck if Hawkins was the

best power forward in the comp for a 3rd time. He must've

either forgotten the answer the first time or just loves speaking

to Duckfacepalm.gif

And seeing him tell Leigh that Del Santo was the recruit of the year

again after Matthews had already told him twice that Buddy was.

I think Majic Daw might be shown the front doorbiggrin.png

He doesn't seem to know how to read the game and looks

to have a small tank. Maybe too much muscle building?

A bit like myselftongue.png

Who is the old mate GS?

Not sure what program it was BookMan but that's where the screen froze

due to the military ordering the stations to pull the pin.

Luckily, I also have a stand alone satellite so can watch AN and the BBC.

Same as ripstanley.

Ahhhh.....

A few games to think about today. No epiphany for me. I'm not sure I like this option of being able to change your picks up until the siren starts tongue.png .

Carlton and adelaide are both difficult to tip for anything being underperforming. Was good to see Adelaide have intensity last week, so lets hope they can do it away from their home crowd.

A bit like myself alt=tongue.png>

The muscles would explain the handsome man reputation KhunWill tongue.png

Leigh said it best last night when he commented that Daw got 6 goals in round 7 last year and it has been all downhill from there. You said at the time you thought he was a bit of a novelty and last night he looked lost. North can't keep him in the team and be serious about a finals berth a the same time on that performance. I'm not sure what his role actually is, so maybe Daw is a bit confused also?

Geelong was good last night, but next week against Sydney I can't see them being allowed so much free run through the centre. Sydney's forwards could have a night out.

I bet Geelong are sweating on Tommy Lonergan being available for the Swans game.

Just saw that the Syd/Geelong game is on a Thursday night.

AN instead are playing the Coll/St's blockbuster on Fridaybah.gif

Word on the soi is that A/N will stop broadcasting by the end of the financial year.

I hope not as was hoping to get the full season in.

Yeah no idea what program it was aviation related if I had to have a guess but I can happily report that AN is back up and running though no footy currently on at the moment...

Who picked GWS? Richmond won by 113.

Jack got 11.

Riewoldt has become the first player since Jonathan Brown in Round 10, 2008 to take 12 marks inside 50.

Probably needs the coaches boot up his arse more often.
