What a disgrace!

The great man obviously had no case to answer.

Just a waste of his time when has all of those other commitments on now.

In fact, I think Selwood should've gone for a week for stagingtongue.png

Just saw all of the reportable incidents on the AFL website.

I thought the Goodes one was fair as contact was minimal.

Boomer Harvey on the other hand should've got a week.

I hope Ryan Crowley destroys the little germ when Freo

play them.

Seems like a pretty straightforward round for tipping this

week but there always seems to be an upset or 2.

What do you guys think?

WB/Brisbane, Nth/Richmond, Ade/Freo and Melbourne/Coll?

Yep, me as well but history will tell you there will probably be

an upset somewhere.

Chooka and I have been agreeing a lot recently.

First there was liking the party pies.

Then he took a shining to my signed MillionDollarBuddy Franklin photo.

I noticed his selfie with my pet Monkey, Chimpy, on his facebook page

Now we share some same thoughts on tips.... w00t.gif

You could almost rate the GWS/Essendon in the same vein as the Melb/Collingwood game. GWS might be on a high and it is a home game for them.

Maybe, although Cameron is a huge loss for them.

Khun Will27, your good heart continues to impress, no wonder you are hansum man!

Again, it just goes to show the Varney Effect is in full force, but not enough force to constitute a reportable offence :P

Crowley, along with that other Rex Hunt Ballentyne drive me up the wall!

Upsets? Adelaide could take Freo given that it's being played in Adelaide... I'd be taking a closer look over the next couple of days... Brisbane could upset the Dogs but not sure the Dees can take Collingwood, though I wouldn't say it's completely out of the question. They took it to Port last week so anything's possible.

I think I prefer Melbourne over Collingwood.

Collingwood still have a few out and Melbourne

are playing good footy.

Will be hard to be Freo at home methinks.

Cameron has been quiet for his last couple of games

Thank you Mr Smith, although you did forget to mention number 1 footy tipper alsobiggrin.png

Freo versus Adelaide is in Perth as well mate so I like Freo's chances.

Carlton doesn't sack them for playing poorly..but they'll get rid of them for social media misuse laugh.png

..........................

Misuse of social media prompts Carlton to sack Josh Bootsma

CARLTON has sacked defender Josh Bootsma for repeated breaches of the club and AFL's codes of conduct, including inappropriate behaviour on social media.

The 21-year-old defender, who has played 14 senior games for the Blues, had his playing contract terminated on Tuesday after "a series of disciplinary issues".
The Blues said the issues involving the West Australian were "compounded" by revelations on Monday that he had engaged in inappropriate behaviour on social media.
The club then held discussions with Bootsma's management and the AFLPA.
Bootsma had been offered counselling and welfare support to help him work through his disciplinary issues but continued to fail to "adhere to the standards expected and required".

Does anyone think Gold Coast can beat Sydney this week? Gold Coast home game.

Should the GC win, Sydney could fall as low as 8th on the ladder.

Bootsma sacked over Bootsma's sack?

Anyway, I'm sure Mick wouldn't support his sackingwhistling.gif

I just read that article...2003. How did you dig that one up?

A mate with a mutual dislike of Malthouse sent it to me.

I'm not sure, maybe chooka can let us know if Grant Thomas was coaching the Saint's

when Capuano was sacked.

Here is what Grant Thomas has said about the sacking of Bootsma and Malthousebiggrin.png

How ironic. Mick must now agree with mid year player sackings? Seem to remember Mother Theresa saying players will jump off Westgate Bridge?

Yep, same as mine as well, even the changeable ones.

I keep expecting Richmond to play a real good one soon

but have come to the conclusion that they just aren't good enough.

North are expected to win which makes me worry.

If all of the tips are the same, it will come down to the margin I guess.

He was.

After making six appearances in the first nine rounds of the 2003 season, Capuano was sacked by the Saints.[1] The coach, Grant Thomas, explained that Capuano's poor form lead to his sacking. While it is suggested that the young and rising Saints did not need Capuano's service anymore,[2] the Saints were also criticised for axing Capuano at the wrong time as Trent Knobel and Barry Brooks, their other two ruckmen, were both injured at the time.[3]

Although a number of VFL clubs sought Capuano’s servicea after he was sacked,[4] he did not accept any offers and spent the latter half of 2003 travelling Europe. He also did not nominate for the 2003 AFL Draft[5] and spent 2004 playing for South Fremantle in the West Australian Football League.[6]
