Trial Bikes in Thailand

Featured Replies

Anyone knows where to buy a trials bicycle (not a trail bike) in Thailand?

From the amount of replies it seems that either nobody has ever seen a trials bicycle in Thailand, or more generally never seen a trials bike. In the latter case, this is what it looks like. Seen them somewhere?

At the end of this vid (8' 19") you see 2 URLs for contact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9inEIoYlqI. I'm sure they can lead you to the right shop.

BTW: Some months ago I saw 2 or 3 used trial bikes in front of Jacky Bikes. Maybe he can tell you more ...?

And if you ask in this MTB forum/thread I assume you get help immediately, too: http://wwwdotthaimtb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=275707 (replace "dot" by a ".")

Just a note for others who might be interested: I found my bike at this shop in Chiang Mai, which isn't really a shop, but a trials rider with a workshop. Khun Palm imports and builds trials bikes. He speaks good English and can give you some advice on frames, sizes, and features. He specialises in trials bicycles.

Sounds interesting. Maybe i am too old and fat for high and wide jumps, but this looks like fun smile.png

CM-Expat, hope you keep us updated. Never heard of it before. Just reading at wikipedia...
