Cuastic soda - have you used it?

OK, so my thread on Sugar Soap sank like a lead balloon sad.png

As the disgusting brown water marks on the toilet walls won't clean themselves, has anyone used a Thai variant of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) they could recommend?

[this is a rental shop-house we're moving into where the landlord hasn't been particularly helpful, I'd prefer not to re-tile his property just yet!]

Yes, cuastic soda ,is costic soda ,I cleaned out the motor bike exhaust with it, in Thai it is โซดาไฟ , available from a hard wear shop at your local market,or a dairy suply shop 60 bart /kg.
