No doubt this question will have been posed and answered somewhere already, so my apologies for repeating, but can any of you possibly advise me:

What is the current minimum visa requirement to register a car in my name?

I am assuming that a 1 month stamp on entry would not allow me to do so.

Basically a nom-imm visa and a workpermit will do.

Seems to be an either or situation. Non imm visa and either W.P or proof of residency?

What will I need to provide in order to obtain a proof of residency?

I do not presently reside in Thailand, I currently work overseas, but I do have a permanent base there when I return, which is often.

Do you see any particular difficulties to obtain one?
