I have been told by Matrix that my chanote is ready and I have to meet at the land office tomorrow. It will cost me 80000 baht to transfer the condo in my name , because they charge me of all the fees.

Is it cash only or can I use my credit card . Thanks

Always cash! If you want to use a credit card go to your branch bank here & transfer Thai baht. We do 3-4 million often there & I have never seen anyone use a credit card ever. I am sure they will tell you the same. As for 80,000 that is a small amount to transfer. It is pretty safe there. If it is over 3 million you can ask for a private room to have funds counted but just about everyone is swingin a hundred & 50 or more for a house transfer or land transfer. I wouldn't sweat 80,000. I have seen wads of 1000's go through the office & no one even bats an eye.

Yeah I know but It's so easy to do bank transfers these days, government offices in Thailand only wants cash , and I am sure some of the officials working there get some extra income out of this.
