Any suggestions on where to get a good Christmas Eve / Day buffet ?

I would like to have a traditional English Christmas meal on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Does anyone have any suggestions on places to visit. I'm looking for a decent place, decent area, decent food and of course decent price. My budget is around 1,000 baht / person excluding any alcohol.

Any location around central Bangkok would be considered.

Thanks

I had my breaky at the Queen Vic today - Soi 23 & noticed their Christmas menu - looked pretty decent. If you haven't been give them a trial run, I like their Queens Full English @225 baht, the Kings is enough for two people IMO. I don't know if it's on offer for Xmas Eve or just Xmas Day.

Edit: just saw you said buffet - sorry

Yes, it's at the other end of Soi Cowboy, almost opposite to the left, but as has been pointed out it's not a buffet.

The Londoner is usually pretty good at 1,500 Baht plus VAT, but that seems to be a set meal this year, The Huntsman at The Landmark has a buffet for 1,500++.

Why would anyone want a buffet? You don't know how long it's been sitititng there, maybe days or how many flies have landed on it,vomiting over it to break it down for digestion!bah.gif
