IE 11 Incompatibilities

Featured Replies

Since updating to IE 11 on my laptop, I have not been able to access the Bangkok Bank Bualaung Banking site. Works fine with the mobile app on my iPhone 5, however. Also, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Retirement Information Services site has posted this: "The OPM Services Online system is not currently compatible with the Microsoft Web Browser version IE 11; IE 11 compatibility will be implemented in the near future."

Anybody else having compatibility issues with IE 11?

Bob

Try this:

Browse to the Bangkok Bank web site.

open Tools on the IE menu

Open Compatibility View Settings

Add bangkokbank dot com to the sites list

Many financial institutions have code to allow which browsers can access the secure portions of their web site. I suspect Bangkok Bank has not added IE 11 to its coding yet.

Anyway, that worked for me for Bangkok Bank and some other sites.

Yea, when I first loaded IE11 I had the same issue with the Bangkok Bank ibanking logon....but setting that page to Compatibility View fixed the problem.

Thanks for that. Had the same problem, but this has solved it. Been waiting for a reply to an E-mail to Bangkok Bank. No such problems with Firefox.

Even ThaiVisa.com had compatibility issues with IE11, primarily with the forum editor...but that has been fixed. See this ThaiVisa post which will take you to a couple of earlier threads on the subject.
