Best dvd usb player all formats mid to low range price pattaya

Featured Replies

i saw a phillips at power buy central festival for about 1500 baht and it says it plays all formats

i am dubious of all claims in thailand but phillips is reliable no?
does big c have as good or better for the price?

i might consider tesco but not as easy to get to

the idea is to be able to play all the file formats from the computer without converting
like flv mpg mp4 avi etc

i do not care for the sales staff (as daft as can be, might be the same everywhere)

nor what their attitude when you return something but convenient location is a plus

constructive and helpful input please

thanks folks smile.png

Put a few movie clips on a thumb drive and see if the display model at the store recognizes them.

I've never had a happy experience w/ Phillips. Ditto any cheap Thai/Chinese brand of DVD player--firmware's crap. Look for a Pioneer, Samsung, etc.

Good idea, but i would need to have them hook up and player to a tv, not sure how that is going to fly.

In fact i highly doubt they would do it but worth a shot thanks.

i have a number of pioneer DVD players

more expensive than the norm but they play everything

The cheap units work OK, AJ plays AVI files. 1000 baht and less.

The low end (blue rays?) advertise that they play all types, 1500 and up.

The high ends are 2000 plus must play everything?

AJ doesn't remember where you left off watching a DVD. Pioneer does; you get what you pay for.

Agreed nothing up here can come close to a PIoneer. They play everything & the features are great. I bought a Phillips TV from Big C & it absolutely was the worst TV I ever bought. Their appliances are garbage as well. I am over Phillips I would spend the extra 600-700 baht & get a Pioneer!

This might be worth it.

Model number and place of purchase please?

Very good point, if you watch more than one, does it remember more than one or only the last one?

Does it remember where on a usb file?

Yes

Does it remember where on a usb file?

That I dunno because I bought my Pioneer before they (the low end, anyway) had USB ports. Then I got a WDTV Live, so I stream all video files.

It still works great after playing thousands of DVDs. Great quality.

With AJ you'd better test whether fast backward and forward work with a video file!
