Is there no end to this Yingluck government's brutality. First setting their thugs on spotty bookworms trying to leave their campus, and now this. What a disgrace!

facepalm.giflaugh.pngcheesy.gif

Yingluck government's brutality... That was a nice joke!

What are you laughing about? The government is composed of pople that sponsored and incited violence and arson back in the red riots. The burning of Bangkok has been officially deemed an act of terrorism. It even contains one very unsavory character that is inextricably linked to the string of Bangkok bombings with a very clear financial money trail to prove it.

Then how come the protests are only happening now and not 3 years ago?

Ok then, show me how you can tell government is being violent NOW, without linking it to 2010 facts.

I laugh because there is NO ANY FACT that shows that Yingluck's government is being violent.

How many people was left dead on the ground during this "peaceful" protests?

Did you take the chance to read the news about what happened this morning?

I wish to see the Shin clan sent off from politics, but tell that this government is violent is just word from a fanatic.

Thai police use tear gas as protesters storm poll venue

BANGKOK, December 26, 2013 (AFP) - Thai security forces fired tear gas Thursday at anti-government protesters who stormed a stadium in the capital to try to prevent political parties registering for upcoming elections.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has faced weeks of mass street rallies seeking to curb her family's political dominance and install an unelected "people's council" to oversee electoral reforms.

The protests have left five people dead and more than 200 wounded in street violence, although tensions had abated since several days of clashes between police and demonstrators in early December.

Yingluck has called a snap election for February 2 to try to ease tensions, but the main opposition Democrat Party -- which has not won an elected majority in about two decades -- has vowed to boycott the vote.

The latest confrontation came as representatives of about 30 political parties gathered inside a Bangkok stadium for a draw for the numbers to be used on the ballot sheets.

The demonstrators have vowed to keep up their campaign to disrupt the polls, with protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban threatening to "shut down the country" to prevent people voting.

Thailand has seen several bouts of political turmoil since Yingluck's older brother Thaksin Shinawatra was ousted as premier in a military coup in 2006.

The political conflict broadly pits a Bangkok-based middle class and royalist elite, backed by the military, against rural and working-class voters loyal to Thaksin, who lives in self-exile.

Spot on jaidam, sadly though'' there are none so blind as those that do not wish to see,'' Hence they don their delightful rose tinted spectacles and that causes them to develop selective amnesia and forget the ''spectacles'' of the delights of the Red Shirts violent rampages, looting and arson attacks and the violation of a medical facility.

A news for you and Jaidam:

1) At least I am not blinded by red or yellow sentiments

2) This government cannot be held responsible for what happened in 2010. Khun Suthep, surely had his good part on it.

I won't reply again to fanatic posts for today... Telling me to be blind (P.s.: I used that phrase not late than 2 weeks ago).

Red Shirts criminal who did armed attack on 2010 must be jailed for life. Who caused a massacre should be jailed for life as well.

S__15228945-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Anti riot police this morning fired tear gas at protesters led by the Network of Students and People for the Reform of Thailand (NSPRT) trying to storm into the election registration venue at the Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japan) to obstruct the registration.

Protesters were angry when the Election Commission (EC) announced to continue with the party-list registration process and also to draw lots for party numbers today.

A total of three parties were reported to pull out of the registration due to incomplete documents.

At 9.00 a.m. the EC officials began to draw lots for party numbers after having verified documents of a total of 30 parties qualified for lot drawing.

The ruling Pheu Thai party picked No 15 for party number. Lot drawing continued as outside anti-riot police continued firing tear gas into the protesters as they tried to storm into the room where lot drawing is ongoing.

Latest report at 9.15 a.m.said the lot drawing has finished.

More protesters were mobilized to encircle the registration venue as tear gas was still thrown and fired from inside to the protesters.

One tear gas canister fell onto the truck which protest leaders were aboard to direct the protesters forcing them to jump out.

Several protesters were injured by teargas and they were being treated by nurses and doctors in the fields.
