Wat in Bangkok I can drop into for meditation on NYE?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Any Wat in Bangkok I could go to late afternoon in Bangkok and meditate through until about 1am on NYE? I live in East Bangkok and ideally it would be somewhere with mats (can bring own cushion if needed).

Many thanks!

They're having a New Years thing at Wat Prayong where Mae Chee Brigitte lives, but this is more a celebration with chanting.

Hey thanks for that. Does anyone know who is involved with it? I would like to join next month if possible but I am new to the scene.

Acutally, I looked at the site, there doesn't seem to be anything planned for next month as yet. Are there similar groups like this meeting that I can join.

You can e-mail them on: [email protected]

Alternatively do some reading with their affiliated group Little Bang http://www.littlebang.org/weekly-meditation/
