By now, everyone is familiar with that High School Book, "The Wisdom Of Crowds".
Written by that man with the unpronounceable name.

Now here we can have a chance to test his theory, if only more would participate.

OH, YES, the people on TVF are definitely the smart ones in Thailand.

So please just vote based on your simplistic knowledge and far reaching expertise, how low do you think the Baht will go?

Everyone is talking about this, but it won't help the discussion not to have a poll, will it?

It would be almost as bad as not having a pole.

Please just vote, and we will need about 200 votes to make this anywhere near significant.

Thank you.

This is the Baht measured against the USD, by the way.

Hope I don't make a mistake with this poll, because it will be my first attempt.

Thanks for not laughing.

Yes, I do know that many statisticians believe this is Malarky.

33.6-34.2

Too much inflationary risk if it goes much lower.

I'd love to vote, but on the Thai Visa Android I don't see a poll. Anyway I've been saying for three years now it would go below 35 and possibly below 40. I'm sticking to that, maybe I'll finally be proved right.

I'm a pound sterling man myself.

Couldn't possibly vote on a dollar,baht issue.

I don't really think that you can get an accurate guide by asking a bunch of 60 to 70 year old expats who's main interests appear to be beer bars and roadworks. All the best with it anyway.

Checking tally nulls vote.

I'd say 36.1 or 37.6 but didn't see those options no didn't vote. tongue.png

By the by, couldn't give a monkey's about the US/baht situation as long as the good ole pound bounces back and the smug Aussie dollar drops on its arse.

I don't see the Baht moving much, but the Dollar?

Not too low I hope.

The last time it dropped off the edge a lot of people made some really stupid life choices on the belief that it would not recover.

It's already 54 and heading swiftly to 55.

Oops silly me, this does not take into account anything but the US$. Maybe this is an American only topic :P

I use CAD$ & GBP, I'm too lazy to covert them to US then to Baht.

Just tell me when I should transfer & I'll buy you a beer :)

The little Aussie Battler ... dropping on it ass against most currencies ... Thai Baht included!

Yes, believe it or not, even the AUD has fallen against the THB recently.

God damm Aussie upstart!

Google, "Major Currency Pairs All Quoted Against The U.S. Dollar"

The U.S. Dollar has historically been the most traded currency in its role as the world's primary reserve currency. The Dollar continues being important, with over 86% of all forex trades still involving the currency.
