Jatuporn urges voters to come up in full force to teach Suthep a lesson

I would place Jatuporn as having the same influence as 'Lippy', who protrayed the piano player in the whore house in the television movie "Lonesome Dove". He made noise which contributed nothing to what was taking place, he could not buy a piece of arse, if his life depended on it. At last he found his calling, A "cooks helper". on a trail drive to Indian country.

Some people just do not realize when their usefullness has passed the 'use by date', Its just a shame that there are so many in the same situation as Jatuporn, in the present Thai political arena, who refuse to acknowledge, it is time to move on to a better brand of politicians which they are to be excluded from.

Something that immensely irritates me is that the PT and UDD crooks keep accusing protestors of doing things they didn't ( ie Din Dang ), they lie and deal in hyperbole.

Addressing red-shirt followers at the SCG stadium in Muang Thong Thani on Saturday night, Jatuporn said that the People’s Democratic Reform Committee lead by Suthep Thaugsuban would try every means to stop the election from taking place, including stealing ballot boxes.

They accuse people of doing things that haven't been done and the reds are so brainwashed they just remember the accusation, they have no idea if it is even true or not !

The problem with this election is Thaksin's 200 cronies convicted of electoral fraud will fix it again. The PDRC is made up of good people for the most part who refuse to stoop to their level...

It is sad to concede that PT may win again purely because they play the dirtiest game with no fear of consequences. AND THERE IS THE POINT....

The PDRC may as you claim be made up of good people (forgive me if I am sceptical) but they are still stooping to the level of attempting to prevent an election called in accordance with the Constitution.

If PT win it will be because more people voted for them.

There is nothing, nothing at all, democratic in replacing an elected government with an appointed " people's council".

And how can you ever believe it will be a fair election when the majority of PT are convicted criminals who have proven by their past actions they will stoop to any level to get what they want ???

You obviously haven't been listening closely to Suthep's nightly rants. A week or so ago he was going on about how an election would be impossible in the south because the ballots wouldn't make it to the EC. Of course this was met with a cacophony of whistles, clappers & cheering.

Maybe your judge of character, "made up of good people" is a bit askew.

I judge people by their actions, these protests from the start were for righteous reasons and I believe they still are. The protests now, if they succeed in removing the fugitive dictator will be by far the lesser of two evils, it is necessary. They have not been overtly militant ( unlike the reds ) they have not had people on stage demanding their sheep go and kill and burn down the city etc. and they are being forced to take extreme measures because the PT crooks keep stooping lower and lower. In a REAL democracy Thaksin would not have been allowed to run by proxy, we would be 7 years away from him and a whole different political landscape. Thailand will only ever regress with him at the helm, the ship is sinking and the protestors are trying to patch up the holes, but PT are determined to go down with their captain and take everyone with them.

If the government had done anything even close to the job it is charged to do constitutionally, you would not have millions of people protesting on the streets. Thais are a very laid back race, and I think less likely to rise up than many other races, taking life as it comes for the most part. The same can be said for past governments of various colors. The point being there is something horribly wrong with the politicians this country creates who are so selfish that they are blind to the fact that running the country to the benefit of everyone would be far more likely to result in stability and far less likely to motivate people to turn out in their millions because they are so incensed and fed up with the politicians raping their country. There will be no democracy in the real sense of the world in Thailand until politicians make some effort to be less self interested and more altruistic to at least some percentage. There is zero love for their country and 100% love for their own pockets. While both parties govern for their own few, how can any stability be expected?

Millions?

You mean thousands right?

Not putting numbers to it other than the ones that you have given. But are you telling me that because thousands said they did not want Yingluck she called for an election.

Seems like kind of an over kill to me for the leader of a nation with a population around 66,000,000wai2.gif

How to quote Suthep's speech which I was listening to on Blue Sky? I can assure you he said that, along with Yingluck will die and her son will not be able to speak Thai because he'll be living in Dubai with no chance to ever return to Thailand. You should try listening to him & you would be more informed (if you can that is).

The very vast majority of farangs on this forum don't understand a word of Thai and could never understand what Suthep really says, and how he says it.

It is (unfortunately) understandable that farangs who don't understand the language also can't understand what is really happening around them, and end up supporting someone as insane as Suthep, only because they are misinformed and rely of incredibly biased English language press.

On my side, I must admit that watching Blue Sky gives me nausea... wacko.png

Even speaking Thai unless you understand the culture and the 5 tones can leave you wondering. I have a friend who speaks Thai but ignores the tones and thinks the Thais have no culture. It is funny to watch the mess he makes when we are at a restaurant where thery don't know him and what he wants. I do better with my English and pointing than him. I wind up getting what I wind up with order and he winds up calling them stupid.

As for watching blue sky. I occasional will as the wife has it on all the time and from time to time they have some great entertainment. Once I thought they had a young Michal Jackson don't understand the language but I can appreciate talent. there was a couple who I think would make great opera Diva's.

No surprise here that is all to refined for a red shirt. they prefer pyrotechnics along with fiery speeches about burning Bangkok down.wai2.gif

How's Jauporn's mother doing these days?

Has he still abandoned her to her life of poverty?

And is she still admonishing him for his bad behavior and imploring him to stop it?

Poor woman. Shame on Jatuporn. May he be a worm in his next life.

Yeah, it's a champion sleaze bag that treats their own mother the way he does.

It's no small wonder then the way he treats all others.

He is a member of Thaksin`s me,me,me group.bah.gif

'Jatuporn charged that Suthep did not actually want national reform but wanted to grab absolute power for himself and his associates.'

Spot on - I couldn't agree more.

And on top of that his "reforms" are so vague that nobody ever had a clue about what it was about...

I love to read the posts of these naive farangs who seem to believe that Suthep's "plan" is the panacea when it comes to eradicating corruption. What a bunch of dreamers... biggrin.png

Even YL has come out of a reform plan. She mentioned once election is done, the reform plan will be carry out. Till now we seems have no idea with her reform plan either. When Suthep ask her to share their both reform plan in live tv, she decline.

All are same same..

ps: I am not a fan of suthep

Suthep asked for his reform plan on the election process before the election. Now if Yingluck thinks it needs reform why is she waiting until after the election which she will probably win.

I smell a rat. I can see it all now. She will say the people elected me knowing full well and good that it was the party members that elected her and many really believe it is Thaksin and ashe is just a poor excuse for a mouth piece. But never the less she will claim they elected her so they must agree with what she has been doing. Ergo no need for change.

The clock is winding down vote in 26 days.

How many left out of the 180 to start the process of bringing Thaksin back a free man no jail time or charges against him?

Sorry to sound gloomy. I read about what is going on here and try to understand, but it is difficult. I love my life in Thailand and hope to spend most of my remaining time here, staying yearly on extended triple entry tourist visas. In your informed opinion does the present political climate hold any fears for my or your future here? Or should I or we prepare for catastrophe? Do many people must share my fears in their varying circumstances.

First jester post of 2014! cheesy.gif

Get out ! Get out, while you still can ! (and do us a favor will you mate ? take a plane load of these demented Thaksin/PTP/ redshirt fans with you, they are really bringing the place down ! ) clap2.gif

But please, as you close the door, leave your yearly, extended, triple entry visas for somebody else without a work permit to use. w00t.gif

I thought Suthep want to reform first then election? Many communities also agree to reform first then election. Only YL(TS) govt refuse to reform first.

Which communities?

Which communities?

student group, forget the actual group name

business sectors

educators

part of government staffs has also voice out

and people we met are welcome for reform first.

Hospital staffs, bank staffs, office group, taxi drivers, etc.

All these people does not represent the whole thailand. But the figures are significant high. From their conversation, reform is a good thing. Why did anyone want to oppose the reform? To make the election process more transparency, free from vote-buying, clear from any "obstruction" or any threat/intimidation to any qualified voters. After the reform, what ever the election outcome is, people will have to accept it. Even the result may cost the nation, everyone will have to take it. The people who go for populist candidate need to consider very carefully. The future of Thailand is in their hands.

Just listening to the demagogue on Blue Sky TV - PLEASE CAN THEY STOP BLOWING THOSE BLOODY WHISTLES na krap.

I know it may stretch your abilities to their fullest, but does your television not have the capability to be turned off nor have its channels changed?

Speaking of electronic variances, does your keyboard also not have the capability to use lower case letters like the rest of the forum members use?
