Jatuporn urges voters to come up in full force to teach Suthep a lesson

Something that immensely irritates me is that the PT and UDD crooks keep accusing protestors of doing things they didn't ( ie Din Dang ), they lie and deal in hyperbole.

Addressing red-shirt followers at the SCG stadium in Muang Thong Thani on Saturday night, Jatuporn said that the People’s Democratic Reform Committee lead by Suthep Thaugsuban would try every means to stop the election from taking place, including stealing ballot boxes.

They accuse people of doing things that haven't been done and the reds are so brainwashed they just remember the accusation, they have no idea if it is even true or not !

The problem with this election is Thaksin's 200 cronies convicted of electoral fraud will fix it again. The PDRC is made up of good people for the most part who refuse to stoop to their level...

It is sad to concede that PT may win again purely because they play the dirtiest game with no fear of consequences. AND THERE IS THE POINT....

My child is going to be born next month. This is not a rugby match. I am very worried about this.

This is people's lives and dreams, their aspirations and greeds. Both sides are guilty.

I am very worried about this. Adding more gasoline to the fire, and reluctantly, ...I will protect my baby. It is insane I should ever have to say such a thing.

No emoticon for being human.

Resume rants.

Congrats on the kid. It will be alright.

What Jatuporn is doing is encouraging Thai citizens to use their democratic right to vote for whatever government they want! And the best the haters here can come up with are some stupid comments about the picture in the OP!!w00t.gif

If a majority of the Thai people want to see the country run by the Shins and their cronies, it is their choice!

They then have the government, they deserve!

If the government they have choosen continue to rob the country blind or bring it to the brink of bankrupcy, then they have to live with the consequenses of having made a bad choice.

And hopefully choose wiser next time??whistling.gif

IMO the solution is not madman Sutheps "peoples council"!

But that is just me!coffee1.gif

Since it's likely that Thaksin holds a lot of control over PTP why doesn't he come and join in the democracy we hear so much about?

He is willing to spill blood to get his money back, but not his own.

The PDRC may as you claim be made up of good people (forgive me if I am sceptical) but they are still stooping to the level of attempting to prevent an election called in accordance with the Constitution.

If PT win it will be because more people voted for them.

There is nothing, nothing at all, democratic in replacing an elected government with an appointed " people's council".

How's Jauporn's mother doing these days?

Has he still abandoned her to her life of poverty?

And is she still admonishing him for his bad behavior and imploring him to stop it?

Poor woman. Shame on Jatuporn. May he be a worm in his next life.

Yeah, it's a champion sleaze bag that treats their own mother the way he does.

It's no small wonder then the way he treats all others.

Sorry to sound gloomy. I read about what is going on here and try to understand, but it is difficult. I love my life in Thailand and hope to spend most of my remaining time here, staying yearly on extended triple entry tourist visas. In your informed opinion does the present political climate hold any fears for my or your future here? Or should I or we prepare for catastrophe? Do many people must share my fears in their varying circumstances.

you have not been here long have you ?? I've been here 30+ years and IMO the Taksin regime is most vile corrupt government I've seen in all this time. I doubt Taksin will win and in end the army will probably have to take over. Having lived through a number of coups I'm not worries about that but i am very scared and worried if Taksin is not stopped.

You obviously haven't been listening closely to Suthep's nightly rants. A week or so ago he was going on about how an election would be impossible in the south because the ballots wouldn't make it to the EC. Of course this was met with a cacophony of whistles, clappers & cheering.

Maybe your judge of character, "made up of good people" is a bit askew.

If the government had done anything even close to the job it is charged to do constitutionally, you would not have millions of people protesting on the streets.

A few hundred thousand in BKK, a city of around 10 million & a stronghold of the so-called Democratic party, should have been able to get more people on their day off. All they got today was a few thousand.

So its a numbers game now right? A few hundred thousand now to the millions before - like they don't matter. People are spending time with their families - your point is no point

Suthep will be flattened by a tsunami of votes in favor of PT

And the Dems will be completely annihilated from the Thai political landscape, leaving Yingluck to run the country in her usual charming manner, making the people happy, strengthening the international ties and good relationship with neighbouring countries, and sending Thailand into a bright future by investing in great projects, such as the high speed train, which will stimulate the economy and make the country better able to compete in an open ASEAN market.

Thaksin can be proud of her and the PT

Jatuporn is right... The Thai people (not the "people" of Suthep) only have to show their strength on the election day and chose those who respect democracy and work for the country!

How to quote Suthep's speech which I was listening to on Blue Sky? I can assure you he said that, along with Yingluck will die and her son will not be able to speak Thai because he'll be living in Dubai with no chance to ever return to Thailand. You should try listening to him & you would be more informed (if you can that is).

Almost impossible to call I suspect Yingluck will be gone soon enough as for the rest we need the best mor doo (fortune teller) Thailand has to offer. As for investment be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.

If the government had done anything even close to the job it is charged to do constitutionally, you would not have millions of people protesting on the streets. Thais are a very laid back race, and I think less likely to rise up than many other races, taking life as it comes for the most part. The same can be said for past governments of various colors. The point being there is something horribly wrong with the politicians this country creates who are so selfish that they are blind to the fact that running the country to the benefit of everyone would be far more likely to result in stability and far less likely to motivate people to turn out in their millions because they are so incensed and fed up with the politicians raping their country. There will be no democracy in the real sense of the world in Thailand until politicians make some effort to be less self interested and more altruistic to at least some percentage. There is zero love for their country and 100% love for their own pockets. While both parties govern for their own few, how can any stability be expected?

Millions?

You mean thousands right?

The very vast majority of farangs on this forum don't understand a word of Thai and could never understand what Suthep really says, and how he says it.

It is (unfortunately) understandable that farangs who don't understand the language also can't understand what is really happening around them, and end up supporting someone as insane as Suthep, only because they are misinformed and rely of incredibly biased English language press.

On my side, I must admit that watching Blue Sky gives me nausea...

Khun Jutaporn, truly the representative mascot of all that is wrong with this country, corruption, endless bullshit, hypocrisy and bloody ignorance.

Just a little puppet dancing in the glare of possible fame or infamy. Martyrdom is an option but perhaps to good for this clown.

WOW Okayyyy so Jatuporn gets the democratic process and calls for people to turn out enmass at the polls while Suthep a supposed democrat is demanding like a spoilt child with increasing threats...... Now theres irony for you......

Gotta laugh at how stupid and desperate Suthep is now looking when even the UDD refuse to come out and play in street battles but rather call to go vote. hilarious clap2.gif clap2.gif

do you really believe or think even if their is an election which is unlikely the problem of Taksin and his lust for power will just go away. Do you really think even if Suphet only represents a very large part of Thailand and not all that he and those who support him are simply going to lie down and take any more of this crap from Taksin.

If so you will find your very mistaken

THis can and will only end in a number of ways

1. Most likely the army will take over

2. Theirs an election and it will be ivalid anyway due to 95% rule and then if army do not simply take over protests and Suphet will continue until Taksin and hisl to go

3. Their will be start of civil war in which case the army will take over

Their is no way Taksin can win any longer and if he lets loose his red shirt thugs then civil war will start and then army will take over

Do you really believe theirs a chance in hell of this government continuing given obvious huge support for Suphet or anyone who would oppose him and do all they can to bring him down whatever them olive or reason.

This will continue for a while longer and at some stage Taksin thank goodness will be defeated. I f you think theirs any other way out you have not been her long enough.

The silly reds can try and do whatever but in end they are cowards and when faced with the army who are loyal to country they will flee and run like the cowards they are and their master can enjoy his wealth away from here.

Of course if Taksin and his clan were to go a different scenario would be possible.

I live amongst these champions of democracy (the red shirt village and area) and I guarentee if it gets nasty the leaders will run like hell leaving their poor brainwashed followers high and dry

The anti-democracy protesters and their apologists are prone to saying that 'democracy doesn't work in Thailand'. Lets see now, in 81 years of democracy they've had 18 coups, almost one every four years. Well, it's hard for democracy to take root when you have military jackboots stomping all over the shoots every four years. I suggest they try the next eighty years without any more coups and let's see how Thai democracy looks then.

Yes - but sometimes a military coup is needed...depending... even the framers of the usa constitution realized if the government isn't doing the job they need to be replaced... almost like what needs to happen in the usa to get rid of the military ind. complex and FED etc that have taken over... at least Thailand hasn't reverted to a tribal state like in africa where mass killings of the other tribe happen = or the mid east where which faction of the same religion you are will get you killed - or not belonging to the same religion...but complex problem here yes..on the surface I thought great - new vote feb 2, but YS will get reelected as they seem to have the votes... but TS is pulling the strings still... but a 6-12-18 months people's council from Suthep doesn't cut it either so deadlocked - but shutting down bkk and the vote is not cool either ...anyway - I am just an observer falung trying to get by here 5 5 5

It would seem that as strongly worded as the comments that you purport were said, it seems very implausible that it was not reported anywhere by anyone, except by Jatuporn and you with neither source credible.

Sorry, but it just remains an empty lie without corroboration.

Until such time as evidence is produced in english or thai, it remains just another Jatuporn lie.

btw, is something makes you nauseous, common sense for most people is to stop doing whatever is making you nauseous.

Jatuporn charged that Suthep did not actually want national reform but wanted to grab absolute power for himself and his associates.

I thought Suthep want to reform first then election? Many communities also agree to reform first then election. Only YL(TS) govt refuse to reform first.

You thought, well, that a wrong thought...... Suthep wants his followers to rule, and himself as an absolute leader and dictator, not more not less...

You are right about the "nauseous thing", thank you.

However, in order to have a better idea of what is happening around me, I like to search for information from various sources, and in both languages (sometimes I even read something in my own language)...

Even if I am totally against the undemocratic dirty games of the Dems and Suthep, I am still interested in listening to their arguments... hoping to hear at least a few things with which I could agree.

Otherwise I would end up completely blind... like so many posters here

But Blue Sky really gives me nausea.
