The Justice Minister just needs to Shut up , people will make up their own minds if they want to protest, all this rubbish of sedition and such smacks of panic , just shut up, let the people dictate there own terms , err that makes a nice change from you mob of scammers, diddling the tillbah.gif .

There does indeed appear to be a coordinated outpouring of panicky statements over the past few days :-

- the military are coming to town, with their tanks & artillery

- the poor won't be able to get treatments or medicines

- you'll all be arrested, for blowing a whistle

- the economy will be crashed, by the ongoing effects of the protests

- the DSI will freeze your assets

- you'll be attacked by 'third hand' parties (is that the RTP or the UDD ?)

- the rest of the World is all on the government's side

Perhaps PTP's true Big Boss is seriously worried about where these protests are now leading ? whistling.gif

Standby next for predictions, preferably from a respected senior religious figure, about Plagues of Locusts, Alien-invasions, Earthquakes & the End of the World ? rolleyes.gif

At least four of your panicky statements are right.

The economy is in a down spiral so yes it crashed.

The rest of the world (almost all foreign governments) are on the government side.

The military are coming to town with their tanks (for children's day)

Everybody is seriously worried about where the protest are now leading.

No statements, but fact's.

So, think before you write any comment, but that seems to be far to difficult for the Suthep lovers....

why is it so difficult to understand that's it not FOR Suthep but AGAINST Thaksin.

I know! it's like Suthep becomes an idol but he is not. Simply cannot stand the Shin clan!!!!!!!! As simple as this!

What an idiot this man is. If he wants to comment on wrongdoing simple look at the activities of he and his cadre. This protest has shaken up this country and the PTP and the Shiniwatara's are no longer so self assured. I think that many fer that their snouts are going to be removed from the trough.

In other words all protesters could face the death penalty. Even with the low quality-standard of the government this guy is an embarrassement.

Apparently you can't read.

Suthep faces a sedition charge. Protesters may face charges of aiding someone with that charge.

For example, if someone sees you on the street giving 1000 Baht to Suthep, then that is a crime.

Get it? Protesters don't face the death penalty. Please learn how to read.

Why don't you learn how to think?

This is no more than the usual PTP bully boy threat and intimidation attempt. The caretaker PM/DM comes on all tearful and expressing love and peace, then goes off with a big smirk across her gob. Then the various bully boys crawl out with threats - the cousin caretaker Foreign Minister and head of CAPO, the lapdog head of the DSI and now this caretaker Justice Minister.

All this from the regime that had to dissolve parliament due to cheating and acting illegally.

So he will also be following up on the criminals who financed the 2010 riots will he?

As usual - PTP think the law can only be used by them and not applied to them, Get it?

5. Mr. Chaikasem Nitisiri
Again on PT Party List.
The Attorney General is selected
by an independent panel and confirmed by the legislature; he
is not accountable to the Justice Minister. Current Attorney
General Chaikasem Nitisiri began his term on October 1, 2007;
he is due to retire in September, when he hits the official
retirement age of 60. (Comment: PPP's strong plurality in
the legislature may imperil the candidacy of any future
nominee for Attorney General who is known to be hostile to
Thaksin's interests. End Comment.)

28/08/2012
However, the NACC decided to set up a new committee to investigate six state officials to find out if they
had acted in a way to demand bribes in the purchase of the airport baggage scanners.

They are Srisuk Chandrangsu, former transport permanent secretary who was chairman of the New Bangkok International Airport (NBIA), Gen Somchai Somprasong, NBIA deputy chairman, Chaikasem Nitisiri, former attorney general, and NBIA board members Therdsak Sethamanop, Supadej Poonpipat and ACM Narongsak Sangkhapong.

"Please learn how to read."

I took a fast course in reading:

116 Whoever makes an appearance to the public by words, writings or any other means which is not an act within the purpose of the Constitution or for expressing an honest opinion or criticism in order:

  1. To bring about a change in the Laws of the Country or the Government by the use of force or violence;
  2. To raise unrest and disaffection amongst the people in a manner likely to cause disturbance in the country; or
  3. To cause the people to transgress the laws of the Country, shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding seven years.

215 Whenever ten persons upwards being assembled together do or threaten to do an act of violence, or do any thing to cause a breach of the peace, every such person shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding six months or fined not exceeding one thousand Baht, or both.

And then if you could push aside the arrogance for a bit and do some more reading in the Penal Code the link to other crimes and heavier (/the heaviest) penalties can be made.

Using a less offending and arrogant tone would help discussions in this forum big time.

Eric, you have just proven yourself to be a fool, there is no mention of the death penalty, LOL cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcoffee1.gif

How the hypocritical worm has turned since the madness this "scum lot" behaved in 2010.and wants an amnesty for the arsonists and murderers, but demonstrating and giving money to a protest leader warrants a threat of the death penalty. One can only hope this will give more incentive to more potential protestors.

Justice minister warns people against joining protest
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Caretaker Justice Minister Chaikasem Nitisiri Monday warned Thais about joining the Bangkok Shutdown protest on Monday, saying it is illegal and dangerous.

He also added that the storming of shopping malls with the intent of arson and looting as well as the invasion of hospitals and intimidation of the sick and elderly was perfectly legitimate and acceptable.

He was unavailable for comment as he sped off in his S class Mercedes in a motorcade

Why are Yingluck's own ministers talking like war mongrels and she is saying, please.. please let's sit down and have a cup of coffee and discuss this situation. Who the bloody hell is in charge of this country ?

Ah yes the man in Dubai, well he should get his Skype connection synchronized !

It doesn't matter who is in charge when the opposition says they are going to seize the capital, shut down and dispose of the government. I think every government in every country would react the same way to the threat of an invading force, foreign or domestic.

You would tell foreign invaders they are breaking the law? The normal method is to call out the tanks, but Yingluk seems to have some trust issues with the RTA, and they with her.

Used law to threaten people have a side affect like the Bangkok governor election the polls result showing democrat candidate get less vote it encourage more people to come out to vote. Same as this case the care taker should saying more bad affect on the impact of the whole country in tourism , economy etc to get sympathy from the people through education and not by force and law and order that's doesn't works it makes a bounce back affect later on Jan 13.

As the Constitutional Court has already ruled that these protests are not illegal, this threat by the caretaker Justice Minister is rather silly.

Funny how the Reds are awfully quiet today on such heated topics...

Threats and intimidation, right out of the red shirt manual. What a sad lot these people are, of course they are the "B" team. After the election perhaps we'll see some of the "A" team returning from suspension for not conducting themselves in a democratic fashion. Lie, cheat, threaten, disrupt other political parties rallies by throwing objects and drowning out their voices with large sound trucks, that is what passes for democracy here. You people who say you support this should know better, none of this crap would be tolerated in a true democracy.

You speak of " True Democracy". True democracy is far from dividing a people into A and B teams . I do not think even Mr Suthep and his entourage would like to write a post like yours. Your approach is only likely to disrupt an already fragile democracy. Hitler divided up the people in the A-team and B-team and then did everything to eradicate one of the teams. Is he your mentor?

The most important thing right now for a country like Thailand is actually not a true democracy (and here I mean true democracy, and not the kind of democracy that ramrod711 advocates ) . Much more important is functioning establishments such as all public institutions. Police force is just one but an important example. For getting everything to work of course all corruption must be fought with "all available means". Equally important is that the level of education must be increased for all classes of society. This would also change and improve the broad masses insight in future, economy and environment.

Use the TV for educational purposes and not to anesthetize people with crappy soapy operas and false commercials. Create good teachers and give all Thais the opportunity to a good education.

With a higher level of education and minimized corruption democracy will come automatically!

The row between the yellow and red is like a primitive and meaningless war between tribes, races or religions. Respect “Equal Value of All Human Life”*) and respect the fragile democracy. If someone misuses his (or her!) power, sue him (or her!) and send him (or her!) to court like in less corrupted countries.

Make Thailand "Land of True Smiles"!

BANGKOK: -- Caretaker Justice Minister Chaikasem Nitisiri Monday warned Thais about joining the Bangkok Shutdown protest on Monday, saying it is illegal and dangerous.

Indeed this statement caries all the hallmarks of a rabid hysterical supporter of corrupt and oppressive government whose puppet master is rapidly losing his sight of the establishment of his one new political family dynasty (Dictatorship)

Just by viewing the news reports on the assorted media outlets we can clearly see that the public are totally disenchanted with the Thaksin scheme of things.

In my view and I am sure I am not alone in that view. If the Thaksin clan were to totally withdraw from the political areas as he has promised ''to wash my hands of politics'' a number of times and to be honest depart the country too as Thaksin has already done.

If according to the comments Thaksin makes concerning his love professed love for Thailnad and its peoples on many occasions That two pronged departure would indeed be the start of a reconciliation and healing process politically and socially in Thailand

At some later date due to the two processes achieving their ends Thaksin and his family would no doubt be welcome back into Thailand..

The current P.R.D.C. movement is anti Thaksin nothing more nothing less, his cronies are of course involved and seen as the enemies of the P.R.D.C.This feeling is yet again reinforced by the inane rabid rhetotriv c coming from the puppet masters minions, the gang leader speaks, they must act. ''Thaksin thinks P.T.P. acts,'' indeed it is a shameful ham performance.

The hour of reckoning is coming, what it will entail we can only surmise.

Sadly I feel that the tension is rising, now we arson attacks a violent reminder of times past and a reminder of the political allegiance and tactics employed by those who may have perpetrated those arson attacks in a misguided show of support for the government. Sadly it has all the indications of being a violent final act in this current drama.

I think I will comment on your English, sir. Without being patronizing.

Since you claim English is not your first language, I think you ought to know, if you do not already, that your written article above is written in English superior to probably 50% of the native speaking posters on this forum.thumbsup.gif

That's why more and more people hate this crab woman government. They are better off keeping their mouth shut! This crab/crap people must end for Thailand.

Statements like this loose we foreigners credibility and make us appear to be uneducated morons that should have stayed home. To insult the Prime Minister of a foreign nation will never earn us credit with our peers or our own government.
