Lite Beer
Pheu Thai denies offering 50-million baht bounty for Suthep’s death BANGKOK: -- The Pheu Thai party has denied a press report that the party has offered a 50-million baht reward for anyone who kills protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban. In a press conference held on Wednesday, Pheu Thai party leader Charupong Ruangsuwan denied he signed a document published by the press instructing red-shirt followers to provoke violence in order to force the military to endorse the invocation of the emergency decree to cope with the protests. In the same document, it was alleged that the Pheu Thai party had set a 50-million baht bounty for the death of Suthep.Charupong said that the document was fake and was meant to demonise the Pheu Thai party and to provoke chaos in the country.Meanwhile, Ms Sunisa Lertpakawat, the government’s deputy spokesperson, accused ill-intent elements of trying to tarnish the reputation of the Pheu Thai party and to provoke misunderstanding among the protesters. She also denied that the party was behind the incident at a press conference held by the Democrat party on Tuesday to present its reform blueprint in which a man blew a whistle at Democrat party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and criticized the party. Popular Post londonthai
there was 50k bounty for capturing suthep, but this one is just a made up story. In the case of violence during occupation of bangkok, military would make a coup. btw there are most probably millions of thai who would kill suthep with their bare hands for free Edited January 8, 2014 by londonthai
bunny11kk
Is this because the military chef came to say that if there is violence next week, the mighty PTP government need to take responsibility? I hope they chicken out so that not many people are going to be killed.

Popular Post ramrod711
Meanwhile, Ms Sunisa Lertpakawat, the government’s deputy spokesperson, accused ill-intent elements of trying to tarnish the reputation of the Pheu Thai party and to provoke misunderstanding among the protesters. Why would the PTP need any help in tarnishing their reputation? I assumed that their reputation couldn't get any worse.
Popular Post RickBradford
.... one of [Lyndon B] Johnson's favorite jokes is about a popular Texas sheriff running for reelection whose opponents decide to spread a rumor that he f**ks pigs: “We know he doesn't, but let's make the son of a bitch deny it.” Similar to the old "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" question. Really, the mental age of these people should be measured in dog-years, or rather the other way around.

Beetlejuice
50 million baht paid to murder our Khun Suthep, then followed by a 50 year prison sentence, that`s 1 million baht for each year served. Sounds like a great deal to me. OK then, who`s willing to take up the offer?
