My car Insurance is due for renewal. Can you get a policy that will cover you in case of an accident with a person who has no licence, or Insurance ?. Are there any other pertinent questions I should ask the Insurance Company ( Example, I see from postings on this forum saying you should make clear which company you want your vehicle repaired, in case of an accident ).

Yes you can, it is called 1st Class insurance. As for what type of repair, you can choose between a Dealer repair or a Contracted repair.

Not vouching for AA here, but you are an idiot in Thailand with out Class 1. Try AA though, they sometimes come up with good quotes and translate the policy into English, but do shop around, oranges aint oranges in Thailand.
