THAI male flight attendants claim they are also victims of abuse by passengers

Stewards of Thai Airways International (THAI) have also been victims of molestation and assaults by passengers.

Pijit Roysirikul (พิจิตร รอยศิริกุล), deputy chairman of the THAI Flight Attendants Association, said a lot of stewards had complained about being molested and hit by male passengers, who were some time very drunk.

Mr. Pijit said held unlimited serving of alcohol on board responsible for the abuses. Some passengers drank 10-20 cans of beer and some, several bottles of liquor. He said the association has asked the management to limit the time alcohol can be served, however, to no avail.

THAI stewardesses have complained of being molested before. The Criminal Court has just recently handed down a suspended jail term to on a senior government official found guilty of sexually harassing a THAI stewardess.
