The Science and Technology Minsitry to woo overseas Thai scientists back home

The Science and Technology Ministry will draw Thai scientists back from other countries.

Permanent-Secretary Saksit Tridej (ศักสิทธิ์ ตรีเดช) said the ministry now needs at least 1,500 more scientists to serve its plan to expand historical parks in 4 regions of the country.

Mr. Saksit said he has asked Thai students in Japan to group together and help open a science advisory office that will help coordinate the return of Thai scientists and researchers in Japan to Thailand.
