Server hosting in thailand

Recommended Posts

Following on from my last posting, can anyone help me to find a company who operates a data-hosting centre in BKK?

I have maybe 20 servers currently located near London in a data-hosting centre.  I will be moving these all to a similar facility in BKK which can offer me a reliable internet connection. My problem is that i do not know any companies in BKK who offer such a service.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for all that info.  I had a meeting on Thursday with Internet Thailand re hosting, and I've emailed the other companies you mentioned.  To be honest, the prices quoted seem quite ok, and I much prefer (for peace of mind), to have my servers physically located within an hour or two of my home location. (From previous experience, catastrophic server failure always seems to occur at 3am and a flight to Singapore is probably not possible!)

I'm back in the UK for a couple of weeks but will hopefully visit those other hosting companies on my return.  In the meantime, I will probably buy one of these new blade-servers to locate in BKK (they are physically more compact than my bank of 1U servers...)

Oh techie talk....I run Linux on all my servers..MS has too many memory leakages when run 24/7.

All my text-chat applications that I write are in Perl or PHP...and I run Apache for the web-server bit.

PS - I had a good quote from Porar, so will arrange to visit them when I'm in BKK in a couple of weeks.  But my emails to Lox were returned as unknown email address. anyone have a working email address for them?
