Hi

My TGF and I need to move some household effects from Phuket to her family's rural house in Kon Buri. Not a whole houseful --- just 2 or 3 hundred kg, say 10 cubic meters max. The stuff is not worth a lot of money but has great sentimental value.

How do we get started on this project? I am not in Thailand at the moment, but need to get the process underway.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions or comments.

Thanks

Make inquires with any transport & logistics company in phuket, these transport operators can move your goods to any province in Thailand. Is much easy and convenience to arrange with them.

I was under the impression that the standard of building in most of LOS would prevent the houses being moved. :D

It happens in some parts of Oz, Brisbane especially. as a cab driver there I would regularly find half a house blocking a road as it moved from one suburb to another late at night. :o

To Thaising and jdinasia: this turned out to be very useful advice. Sincere thanks.
