sambatsmith
Looking for advice on cheapest long term car rental in Phuket. Ideally less than 10,000 baht a month not wanting a brand new car in fact can be really old as long as it goes and is reasonably economical not bothered. Don't fancy my daily commute on a scooter roads are just so crazy especially into Phuket town. If anyone knows anyone renting cars for right price could commit to 12 months rental thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
imprezd
Lowest rental price I've ever seen on Phuket was 12000 for an old beaten up Mitsu. Regular long-term rental price is 15000.
sambatsmith
Ok 12,000 seems steep for an old car someone has said 10,000 so I just wanted to see if anyone could come lower Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

Not likely to rent a car for 12,000 baht/month even long term. Might be possible to rent one of those old Suzuki Caribbeans for 10k, but without full insurance. I seem to remember that Mike's Bikes on Chaofa East in Chalong used to offer some old bangers for 12K but just basic insurance.

Tapster
Hi, I'm renting a Honda Jazz for seven months, with insurance. 14,000 THB/month. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to name names on the forum so maybe pm me if you'd like details. Cheers
