I've had good girls and I've had bad girls. I stopped working because I have enough money. I kind of feel sorry for the guys who can't afford bad girls. Well keep working, maybe someday.

Pappy always told me, "Son, in this world ye gits what ye pay fer."

Actually dad didn't say that quite that way but I was trying to sound folksy. He really said, "Rupert buy a big newspaper chain and maybe someday you will find a good looking lady to marry someone as ugly as you."

- Hang out at the army base recreational facilities with my buddies. As good as a 5 star resort and there's no tipping required.thumbsup.gif

- When in Udon, we go out on the river near the border and have a picnic. wai2.gif

- Sometimes we go into the big city and hang out for a day.blink.png

- Fly to the non popular places on the Nok/Air Asia routes and discuss how much we can't stand the place. laugh.png

- A couple weeks ago, we spent a couple hours in Home Pro admiring appliances and home furnishings.

- We went up into the mountain hiking. Thankfully, most of the locals aren't into it, so we had the place to ourselves.

- Drove around aimlessly on a motorbike, or as my friend says reconnoitering the place in the event that there are zombies and we have to escape.

- Sometimes we organize "expeditions" to check out places we haven't seen. At the end of the day, we understand why we never bothered to visit before.

-Karaoke (which I dislike, but Thais like it)

Yeah, I just noticed...oh well, our local market has one of the best produces.

Like to explore new places with my wife.. Always visit some temples. I try to go to new places everytime, it's so many lovely places.

Of course Song Kran in Chiang Mai was a blast for a first time visitor :D

On any given evening say around 5pm in BKK enter into a race between me walking and a bus leaving from same spot to see how far I can walk before the bus passes me. Record so far 25 minutes.

the one that I have been married to for 25yrs.thumbsup.gif

I single handedly started a "Houses for Issan" sponsorship program.
It was very successful at first.. but as time progressed, I realised that I needed to diversify and start to enjoy other activities too.

Now I mostly test beer, and check out the quality of sound systems and choice of music being played

Call us for assistance.

Over the years I have done the sight seeing, overdone the hedonistic lifestyle......and now when I am in Thailand I just love being with my family, eating out, home cooking, swimming, and pottering around on the family farm doing things that are usually adjusted when I depart. Although at the moment a 40 meter fence that my wife and I erected remains unaltered after 2 years! repaired the hand water pump at the farm, I also service the kids bicycles, when I fitted a new seat and mudguards my daughter proudly exclaimed she now had a bicycle of 3 colours! I enjoy the simple things of life like water fights when washing the motorsi! I go the temple mainly to observe and participate a little. I guess 'what I do for fun'.....is relax

Guys love Song Karn Festival because they can touch the girls' face and get girls wet.

Thailand is a small country and most people think there isn't much to do. Of course there are the sun, sand, beaches, bars, girls, but aside from those, what else that people do when they are in Thailand? I like hearing there are people like the simple life in Thailand.

I had a great day with a good friend and all of his in laws on a farm in Issan with 2 fish pools. We fished and drank beer all day, ate bananas, coconuts and mango straight from the trees built a fire to cooked the fish. One of the most relaxing and enjoyable days I've had on holiday.

When in Phrae at the gfs home a walk in the forest, swimming in the waterfalls or bathing in the hot springs. The countryside in Thailand is great for relaxing. You don't have to do the tourist thing or spend a fortune to have fun.

We always spend a couple of nights in the city at the start of the holiday. We enjoy going out for meals or going to a show but we are both country folks at heart. There's only so much of the hectic city life I can take. I must be getting old :D

Well I came here to spend time on beaches and not pay Tax. Turns out I spend more time in the Mountains and riding my motorbike than seeing the beach. But there is a lot to say for Thai golf courses. I also enjoy the food.
