Hi all.

I'm trying to find out some info about Chaiyaphum accommodation, mainly long term rental. Most major cities have real estate web pages advertising their listings. There doesn't appear to be any for this place. I realize Chaiyaphum isn't a major city but thought it would have some real estate pages.

any info about this place would be much appreciated.

Thanks to all.

Mal.

Best thing is to spend a few days there and look around.

Often you will find handmade signs "For Rent' (in Thai) on all sorts of properties.

Not much English spoken there so if you can speak Thai great, if not make sure your with someone who can, and someone can trust.

Other option is ask your local connection to do the leg work for you. Give them your requirement spec, budget, length of rental required? and ask them to take pics.

You could find some real bargains. We found a very nice new shop lot in my gf small town for THB6,000/month. It's worth spending the time to dig deep.

In my experience any rental advertised by more than word of mouth and a sign on the front of the property is much much more expensive.

And a Thai should make the initial contact asking for the rent price and how much deposit required, or in many cases "farang price" will apply.
