Sealing porous tiles + re-grouting advise

Can anyone help?

We've just moved to a new house and the current pool is a bit of a mess. It's currently leaking 2cm a day, but that's another story...

Anyway, the tiles that have been used are the Indonesian porous tiles. They haven't been sealed.

It looks like Stevie Wonder did the grouting, not only is it breaking away, entire sections have been missed. We would like to re-grout and seal the tiles.

Can anyone recommend a good grout and also a tile sealant?

We were thinking of using the weber epoxy grout - has anyone used this? Any ideas on a good sealant?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt.

Regrouting depends on the size of the joint. There are a number of good grout brands out there but they are nearly al the non-sanded type. Read the package and you wil be able to see what size joint it can be used on . Wide joints require sanded grout to stay in place. Non sanded grout will simply not hold up.

Most any home center will have somthing to seal the tiles. Diamond Stone is one brand that comes to mind. There are two types: water based & thinner based.
