So I bought an ipad air today can someone explain how they have worked out that I will only receive 800 baht. Bck I am most confused 1100 isn't even 7% to begin with then they've come up with 800???

They brought in a new sliding scale for VAT refunds last September.........

There is a chart somewhere if you search around for it.

what about a wallet around 600 bht?

Had a look for a chart but no luck anyway seems abit of a con that 800 is less than 4.8% overall but oh well

no links to the damn chart. WTH.

I bought a new camera a while back for around 17,000 baht and 800 baht was my refund amount as well but you have to be leaving the country within 60 days to get it. I just tossed it, was worth buying a flight out and back for only $25 or so in a refund.
