Double entry visa some months after single entry visa. Difficult?

Featured Replies

I am flying to Thailand on a single entry visa on 6 Feb and i am most likely going to spend my 60 days + 30 day extension on the 3 gulf islands because i loved these places so much when i visited 3 years ago.

Now i am on a bigger trip through most of Asia which will take over a year in total if all goes well.

After this visit to Thailand, i will likely spend some 3-4 months in countries like India, Nepal, Vietnam en Laos.

However i would very much like to come back to thailand after this to explore the other side of south Thailand, and north Thailand. And i would like to take my time doing this. Since i'm not in a hurry.

My question is. How difficult will it be to get granted a double entry visa, some 3-4 months after i have left thailand on a single entry with extension? Provided that i will have an outward flight out of Thailand within the period of my second entry, and enough funds to show? Has anyone done this?

No problem to get a 2 entry tourist visa after only having only one single entry visa.

The only nearby location to get a 2 entry visa is Laos at either the embassy in Vientiane or consulate in Savannakhet.

Thanks. No worries then!

Would it be different when i would already have had a 2entry visa?

Sent from my ME173X using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

It would be the same.
