Gang drugging and robbing tourists caught by police

I posted a topic in the Hua Hin forum which is where this gang was caught but according the the video interview they have also been active in Bangkok and Pattaya.

They target older foreign tourists, drug them and rob them in their homes. They have all been arrested.

I posted this here as I believe it's relevant and there's going to be people in Bangkok and Pattaya who have come across these people and may well recognise them.

I've came across people on this forum before who don't believe people are being drugged in bars and simply write incidents like this off as someone getting too drunk. This is 100% proof that it does happen and is organised crime. The video linked on the facebook page shows them admitting what they did and how they did it, it's all in Thai though.

Apparently it did for the victims.

It should therefore be applicable to the perpetrators of such crimes, also.

If you actually take the time to look through his page you will see that he uses the facebook account to post many stories and photos, some of them are quite interesting if you're in the Hua Hin area.

I believe he's some kind of photo journalist.

Saw this going on with half the girls in the Hua Hin Karioke area about a year and a half ago. Pills were being passed inside bill wallets (black things waiters present the bill in) between guys at the door and the girls.

Girls kept walking off with guys and coming back pretty quickly. Many guys were passed out in the seats of a nearby bar.

One group a couple of good looking young girls would dance with men and pick pocket them and then pass what they nicked to 2 old fat birds who weren't suspected by the victim and police. Only realised this much later on when the old girl was trying to use a blocked phone.

The ladyboys were trying to pick pocket people all night.

Another scam they were upto is the girls would come and stand next to you while you ordered a drink and order one themselves, when asked to pay they would tell the barstaff that the person was paying. If they didn't pay they would try to guilt you into it. Most people gladly told them to er disappear. Barstaff were fed up with them. When made to pay the girls had numerous thousand baht notes most likely from the drugging victims.

Talked to a young tourist who came from the hotel disco where a girl came upto him with 2 drinks one for him and one for her. He swapped the drinks around and she refused to drink it.

Seems pretty rash to kill a person over inanimate objects.

Maybe they could charge him with soliciting prostitution.

You do know that facebook currently is rife with posts from Thailand that are rather odd to say the least? Frankly I would not believe anything from facebook. Is your story in the news somewhere?

'Drugging' DOES happen in Thailand, eventually you will probably find out this is true.

However, the rumor that BUYING drugs is so dangerous because the police will and do set you up i still have yet to confirm from anyone in Thailand after many years.

Rumor only or does this actually happen more than once a year somewhere in thailand to some deserving a-hole?

Happens in KSR very regularly, guys selling in partnership with the BiB give up a few customers per week for a shakedown, 40-100K to get off the hook, stash goes back to the dealer.

I actually heard a story of farang busted with coke around KSR a while back, cost them 20 or 40 k at police station but the cops gave them the stash back!!!
