I was rushing with my girlfriends visa application, paid for the appointment the looked and realised her birthdate should have been 07 not 17, can she change it by overwriting the 1 and making it a 0 in front of the appointment person and initial it or do I have to pay again?

Out of curiosity, to which country is she applying for a visa and why did you need to pay for an appointment and why would you have to pay for another application? Was the visa issued or was the error only on the application and did you pay for the appointment to have the application processed or for the application form? Payments made to a consulate/embassy or some visa service?

It can be manually amended on the hard copy application form. It's no problem.

Surad it was for a visit visa to the uk. You pay online now(not turn up with a bankers draft) which then allows you to book your appointment for biometrics, presentation of documents and visa application.

went today and everything was fine just changed it in front of the woman who checked the passport...
