January 29, 201412 yr The mounting bracket on wich my electric gate motor sits, has two holes that don't hold the bolds anymore. I guess the only solution will be to drill the holes one size bigger and with a dormer cut new wire into it. I've never seen dormer tools around, and guess they miy be quite expensive., anyway I guess it's kinda waste of money to buy the dormer tools for 4 holes. Are those items for rent somewhere, or is there another solution ?

I guess they have them, but I assume they are quite expensive for a one time use, as I don't only need the tap but also the tool where that holds the tap. Could you take the motor off and weld nuts on the bracket ? I can take of the motor, but the bracket is fixed in the concrete, and welding nuts on top is no option of course, other than that I would need a welder for that.
January 29, 201412 yr Would it be possible to use rawlbolts to replace the existing bolts (might involve drilling out the old thread completely.
