Hi all virgin user to this forum here. I would be really grateful for some advice. I am coming out to thailand in september to do a tefl course in bangkok with a view to teaching after the course is completed. What type of visa do I need and where do I get it?? Have only been to thailand on a tourist visa before and did the boarder runs on a couple of occasions, this would not be ideal when doing the teaching course or when working.

First, get a NON-IMMIGRANT VISA, type "ED" and change it to a type "B" later. See also Change Type Ed To A Type B ?, Can or cannot in Thailand.
