dollarman
From which company can I get landline internet without signing a 12 months contract? I just need a stable internet connection and speed is not important. But it need unlimited download. I live at 12. floor in Jomtien, so that might limit the options too. I already have AIS usb stick but I need 1 more internet line for downloading and backup etc.
OMGImInPattaya
Only if you sign up in the name of a thai (e.g., wife, gf, bf, lf, etc.). After the first year, even the foreign name can pay monthly.
KittenKong
Depending on which building you are in you may be able to get Sophon cable broadband, which would tick all your boxes.
WaywardWind
BTV offers monthly plans but I have no idea if they cover Jomtien. I have the phone numbers if you need them.

RandomSand
Sophon do 6 month contract but you might find that Sophon is not available in your building. Anyway; when you look at the price of paying for the basic True package in advance, eg 12 x B590 inc fee modem and install, paying for 12 months and leaving it early might even be cheaper. KittenKong
Sophon do 6 month contract Last I heard they do it monthly, though for contracts of under 1 year there is an installation fee. I pay yearly in advance for the discount I get (and because I cant be bothered to pay monthly).
dollarman
3BB and True only got 12 months contract and it is the same for foreigner and thai. Foreigners have to pay a certain amount advance though. Sophon and Cat was not available for me.
