Farmers now join PDRC protest in Bangkok

BANGKOK: -- Farmers from the central and lower northern regions joined the anti-government protest in Bangkok lambasting the caretaker prime minister and calling her to step down.

Pojaman votes at Setsathien school

Khunying Pojaman Damapong cast her vote at the fifth polling station of Dusit district in Setsathien school at 8:45 am.

She finished the voting in about three minutes and left the scene immediately.

Chuwit engages in brawl with protesters

BANGKOK: -- Rak Prathet Thai party leader Chuwit Kamolvisit and his guards engaged in a brawl with some protesters at about 8:40 am after he tried to break through the protesters to vote.

Chuwit was seen on Channel 9 head-locking a man and repeatedly hitting him.

After the brawl, Chuwit returned home without voting. He said he would not file a complaint with police.
