February 2, 201412 yr We have shared our house in Sansai with (non-aggressive) bees for the last few years. .They're back again but the problem is an upcoming and much-needed replacement of that section of the wooden shingle roof. I've tried to dissuade them with smoke and the use of mosquito coils but so far to no avail. I don't want to spray them with insecticide and I don't want to get stung, or cause anybody else to get stung. I understand that the key to "moving" them is get the queen out but no thanks, not for me. Or the wife. I need some local expertise, like a bee-keeper. Any contacts out there? Thanks..
February 2, 201412 yr How about contacting someone such as Chiangmai pest control. We use them every month as part of our annual contract with them, we don't have bees but ants, termites, cockroaches. Will find their number if you wish.....not to hand just now
February 2, 201412 yr I once fumigated a swarm with a charcoal brazier and sulphur from a hardware shop. closed the place up tight and in the middle of the room, put the sulphur on the charcoal and exited for the afternoon. they never came back.
February 2, 201412 yr Speak Thai? Know your neighbors? Ask them and shortly the local bee man will arrive to fix your problem.
February 2, 201412 yr Set fire to the roof and solve 2 problems at once? CM Pest control sounds like a safer option.
