ALLSEEINGEYE
Chalerm is doing all right....did he accumulate this money from when he was a policeman? What money? He owes 110 million, according to the report. Suthep has 210 million baht asset but has 320 million baht debts. Labour Minister Chalerm Yubamrung has 170 million asset with no deb No wonder he's reduced to marching up and down the streets snatching 100 Baht from the hands of the elderly Yes no surprise that you only see the one side of this instead of looking at the grossly corrupt Shin clan that you try so hard to protect with your biased opinions. Get a grip already!!! You are pathetic!!!
VINCENT2012
what are these people doing ? NACC should be forbiden and all the people working in this department puting in jail or deported like the poor indian person found in the street of bangkok protesting against them. This kind of new is totaly inacceptable for the image of this great government who for sure is doing is best, working hard.... taking as much as he can...ASAP to join the heaven in dubai with friends, perhaps ? In a country where lots of people, entire families live with 300 baths a day sometimes less, it is good to have a report to read saying what is happening but the big question is..... what are they going to do about it ......? it is very heavy new.............some might say....... like this litle girl.....with all respect to everybody....... good day and good night Edited February 5, 2014 by VINCENT2012
gerrythepoet
Make a deal with Suthep, clear his debts and then give him a job on a rice farm with free lao khao he'll be happy having a jolly great time parading up and down in the fieids speaking to the grass and be honoured that he is a real Thai. Gweiloman
I'm surprised that after almost 100 posts, no one commented on relatively how little money Abhisit has? 54 million baht is really not quite enough to live on, considering his high profile and presumably children as well? Prbkk, get a f***ing grip...!! How does your dream girl explain an increase of 50 million in her wealth over the past two-and-a-half years, when all she can declare is the earnings of a PM, which, at the last count, was no more than THB 180,000 per month...????????

He owes 110 million, according to the report. You must need a visit to the opticians. The post says he has 170 million and no assets. At least that is what is declared. And all this from being a policeman and politician but it is somehow not unusually rich. What a nonsense this all is

johnthompson
I find Chalerm the most shocking one. According to wikipedia they already seized 32 million baht in 1991. Now in 2014 he has 170 million baht. He had to have an average salary of about 7.7 million baht per year as a politician without spending a single dime. How can this guy still walk freely in thailand without people calling him a crook in public. Even more shocking people keep on voting for him for more than two decades. Howard150
Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra had Bt603 million in assets and Bt28 million in liabilities. Her assets increased since taking office by more than Bt50 million..But her assets have decreased by hundreds of millions since prior to taking office. What did she do with it all? Gucci bags? Yingluck netted 985 Million Baht from selling her 20 million shares in Shin Corp. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-08-09/yingluck-names-stock-regulator-thirachai-as-finance-minister.html .

whybother
Suthep found that insurrections don't come cheap. He probably spent 100million-150 million baht thus far. But he will surpass Yingluck in the number of arrest warrants, so he has gained some success. Suthep would have had to submit his assets declaration from BEFORE he started the protests as he quit before them.

mightyatom
Suthep has 210 million baht asset but has 320 million baht debts. So that's why he's trying so hard to get into power, for him to be able to skim his way into the black! It is disturbing to think that people on TVF actually believe these figures, talk about ignorant and naive. These guys probably with the exception of Abhisit have upwards of billions. Please don't jump on here saying you don't really believe the OP stats, because many of you are basing your posting on these exact stats, so you clearly must be so deluded as to believe all of them. That money was frozen as part of Thaksin's asset seizure(remember the one that caused the spontaneous red riots a few days after the verdict). That is why she was so keen to ram the Thaksin amnesty bill through at 4am, she stood to gain almost a billion baht. Would that be classed as a possible conflict of interest?
