Pattaya International Soccer 7s

Hi Sunbelt guys,

After the huge success of the 2nd Bangkok International Soccer 7s and the 4th Phuket Soccer 7s Tournaments, we are proud to present the inaugural Pattaya International Soccer 7s, which will be contested on 8 & 9 July 2006, during the final World Cup weekend. Venues will be arranged where, after the tournament teams can watch the World Cup final and 3rd & 4th place game. What better way to watch the world cup, play a tournament during the day then sit in a great bar in the evening with cold beer and good company.

At this stage, 10 teams are pre-registered for the Pattaya Soccer 7s:

German All Stars (Hongkong)

Hanoi Capitals (Vietnam)

Madras United FC (India)

Ching Fung FC (Hongkong)

ISCI (Thailand)

Taiwan Mongrels (Taiwan)

ST Patrick BC (Thailand)

Les Gaulois de Bangkok (Thailand)

Pattaya City (Thailand) - Seaboard + FG Pattaya

Tokyo team (Japan)

And waitting confirmation from 6 more teams...

Some Tournament Informations:

The tournament shall be played in accordance to FIFA Laws of the game except where there shall be no offside, 7 minute halves, 7-a-side pitch (70m x 45m), full size goals and rolling substitution.

Playing Venue: Either, Horseshoe Point Resort or The Regent International School.

Important Dates:

Captains Briefing & Press Conference on 7th June at the Official Tournament Hotel, Pattaya Beach.

Opening Party on 7th June at The Shark-Tiger Entertainment Complex, Soi Diamond, Walking street, Pattaya Beach.

(World Cup final - 3rd & 4th place game - on 8th (start at 2 a.m.) at The Shark-Tiger Entertainment Complex).

Awards Party on 9th at the Official Tournament Hotel, Pattaya Beach.
