Or they KNOW that they still cannot win an election. It seems you are beginning to understand the problem. We have a proven pack of inept criminals in government, stealing and wasting the country's resources at an incredible rate, but as long as they keep dangling carrots in front of the donkeys, the donkeys will vote for them. One ray of sunshine, some of the donkeys are realising that they don't get the carrot.

One ray of sunshine, some of the donkeys are realising that they don't get the carrot. My understanding of the problem is the same as what it was previously ! In Thailand, a party that represents the rural poor will always get more votes than a party that mainly represents the urban middle-class. You used the word 'donkeys'. I prefer to say 'people of below average income' ! Now some of these people have not recieved their carrots, (like some of the farmers) correct. But most of the rural poor reckon (maybe, know), that they've been getting bigger carrots during this Thaksin-decade. If I do actually vote for whatever party that gives me the biggest carrot, well, am I wrong ?
