I am with Kasikorn Bank. Even though their website states you can order foreign currency from any Branch for collection, this has proven not to be the case. I have spoken with H.O. and they advise I need to travel to H.O. in Bangkok to make the arrangements.

I need cash, I do not wish to electronically transfer from Thailand to my Oz bank account. Can anyone point me in the right direction to where I can buy/order AUD$10k cash for collection in Pattaya.

did you try some of the exchange booths?

they suppose both to buy and sell currencies.

though might take a few of them to accommodate your 10k AUD need...

beach raod, 2nd road has many of these places.

I have tried this approach & they only have very limited AUD$ cash, be a nightmare to contantly run around the various FX booths

Bank Gold shop in Rungland supplied me with 10,000AUD last week took 24 hrs to find the foreign currency.

Banks like to play around alot with un neccessary paper work. USD ready available less common currency may take 24hrs to get.

Walk in walk out no hassle.
