First of all it's important that u are using the right kind of rice!

Use the round shaped kind of rice.

Cook the rice in milk with sugar, but very, very slowly and stir all the time, it burns very quickly at the bottom.

When your rice is soft enough take it from the oven and add the ready soaked gelatine leaves(per 1 Liter about 5-6). In case u dont have gelatine u can use agar agar instead, it's cheaper and available in all thai shops.

Than put your rice pudding into cups and let it cool down in the fridge. I like to add some vanilla flavour and 1 or 2 eggyolks.

Enjoy!

You can use sticky rice to make rice pudding. It's a lot cheaper than buying expensive imported rice.
