Hi.

Over the years I've been here I've noticed that many Western women, who would be considered attractive in their native homelands, are shunned by men in Thailand generally.

I feel sorry for these lonely, desperate women. What advice would you give to help these ladies? Here are some of my tips:

1. Get slim and make sure your hair is long. Look after your skin and make sure you look pretty at all times.

2. Dress nicely. I see so many professional Western women dressing far worse than their Thai counterparts. Wear nice dresses and nice shoes, and don't dress like you're lazily sleeping it out on the couch.

3. Smile more, and be nice. Lose the stuck - up "I'm better than you and you're not good enough for me" attitude. I think this is a kep point at which professional Thai women are far superior to Western women.

4. Speak nicely. Don't swear or use 'common, peasant-type' language. Again, professional Thai women speak far more nicely than their average Western counterparts.

5. Stop being an alcoholic - it looks bad

6. Smell nice - use deodorant and perfume and make sure you shower at least twice a day.

Well, these are my tips. Would anyone like to add some more?

Replace the word "women" with "men" everywhere in your post and it's still equally applicable. What exactly is a "professional Thai woman"? Is that a matter of authenticity, as opposed to an "amateur Thai woman" which would be a ladyboy?

You seem to be projecting your own feelings of inadequacy onto western women. Maybe you should follow your own advice instead of worrying about them?

They should post an ad on Craigslist,saying they are A farang female that would like to meet men for conversation,etc etc etc.

How exactly have you observed them being shunned? Unless you're following them around (super creepy) and actually watching them getting shot down repeatedly?

However you're reaching this conclusion about western women other than those you know well personally, you're spending way too much time investigating their supposedly lonely existences. Either you're a stalker or, as someone else said, you're projecting your own circumstances onto imaginary women you really know nothing about.

You need to find a full time "friend," real or inflatable, and not spend your time doing make-overs for people you have no connection with.

dont know which swamp you inhabit but there are plenty of smart, attractive, slim, well dressed and smart western women living in my apartment block and non of them appear lonely!

Good Job you have chosen the name warriorbangkok.. Because iI think you are going to need to be a very strong warrior. Making comments about ladies like that, lets hope for your sake they do not match your true identity with the TVF name.

Mind you not a bad idea if they did. then we have some good replies of the consequences on here also.!!

My advise is leave the country while you still can with your wedding tackle in tact. or may be it has been removed & this is your revenge I do hope you are a young person because your certainly have a lot to learn!!!!

My Thai gf doesn't use pidgin English and nor do any of her female Western friends.

I suggest the OP wander down Thonglor or Ekkamai instead of Soi 4 of an evening and perhaps his eyes might widen along with his appendage.....

Bingo. I never cease to be surprised by how quickly some of us take the bait. Particularly love 'change the women to men' post - I guess I've spent way too long around Thai-based boards. There is always someone eager to yank our chains, and I suspect that he got the chuckle he was looking for.

I'd ask if you were new to Thai Visa, but with over 5000 posts, obviously you're not.

Most probably a troll, although his post must have certainly taken a disturbing amount of time to put together if only to get a rise out of people, which begs the question when does a troll's attempts to sound weird suggest something genuinely weird lying not too far below the surface?

Aside from that, surely you recognize that a lot of the off-the-wall posts at Thai Visa are pretty much what defines the "normal" thought process of a not insignificant number of contributors.

And this particular poster also wrote about the legality of killing someone ... the sort of premeditation that is anything but trollish.

Why is it that every time someone refers to the positive aspects of western women they say "if you want want good conversation". Are you saying that is all they are good for? Is that the only source of good conversation?

I personally don't look to western women to get "good conversation" and I'm not looking to banter with someone.

But this topic always reels in quick responses.
