I woke up this morning after a nice sleep (whilst still suffering from a flu like bug, but still I knew I could fight my way through it).

I don't have a problem with noisy neighbours, the AC was fine, made myself some breakfast, checked the water quality, (and nothing was off!!). Then I posted on TV, looking for a little advise, which I got, Thank You Gents!

Went out in my car a little later, and didn't get pulled up by the police, no fine, etc, which I was very surprised at!! After turning the car around in Foodland"s car park (which is impossible I've heard!!), I parked outside the shop I wasn't advised to visit (but I did because I had the sense to ask around beforehand!), I organised what I set out to do in a few minutes!!!!! Had to go back later to pick up my purchase a few hours later, it was dangerous, I had to park the car next to Thai people, I was rather worried because they were all normal!!!

Now, thinking I'd got it all worked out, and getting slightly ahead of myself, I went for a beer, expecting to be caught out, but, "No", I knew how much a beer costs!!! I caught the staff right off guard!!!!

During this whole drama, I didn't have one row with anybody, and that includes all nationalities and their occupations (and I didn't need to get one Baht bus, or queue for anything!).

Is it me, or do some people cause their own problems (apologies in advancer for having too much time on my hands)?

It's nice to be nice!

I cannot see the point of your topic. Sounds like most folks normal day...................coffee1.gif

@Woody1, Thanks for a very refreshing read on TV. My everyday life is very similar. Thanks for pointing out, that I am not the only one. I thought I was strange or different. cheesy.gifcheesy.gifgiggle.gifcoffee1.gif

Psych01, do you have a particular fetish, or bug bare?? Or will a random one from here do?

What on earth are you rattling on about?

Today was a good day, didn't have to use my AK. Ice Cube

Last night was wonderful, as I slept all night, and no intruders to my place.

Even today, I haven't been harassed by a lunatic minibus driver, as I haven't been outside yet.

Yep...most expat residents lead normal lives; and this flu season has been a [rhymes with rich]. I've had mild cases 3 times this winter...including yesterday myself.

There's a "flu Season" in effect? I usually cop for it when there is a bug doing the rounds....so not meaning to tempt fate, I hope those suffering feel better soon.

I agree with Woody's overall sentiment here. that some folks tend to over complicate some things here to ridiculous levels, however, that said; on some days (In Thailand) even the simplest of things, such as going banking, visa-ing, or shopping, take military style planning, only for the wife, or some self important stuffed shirt (usually a car park attendent or traffic cop) to throw the best laid plans awry...

Jinxed it!

Wouldn't wanna be the OP tomorrow.....

A persons own attitude generally tells them what sort of day they're going to have.

Laugh and the world laughs with you.......mind you, can be hard at times in Thailand

If I wasn't happy here I wouldn't stay.

Driving and riding a m/c can be interesting at times but I seem to be adopting the style required to manage most circumstances.

Foods great.Women, great if you find the right one (only time will tell) The weather, worth getting up for every day.Beers, could be better, but can put up with that. Its not perfect, but it'll do me.

Happy, too right I'm happy!

@Woody1, nothing specific. Do not wish to create a toll post. It was good to hear someone else had a good refreshing day. biggrin.png
