I applied for a 3 month tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Vietnam(i hold a European passport),my visa is expiring soon (3 rd April) and would like to know if it is possible to apply for a 3 month tourist visa again ? As i really need to stay here.

Which is the best company to use as i don't want do it alone?

How much is the average price to pay for that kind of service ?

What documents are needed ?

When i applied in Vietnam they requested a ticket to and from thailand !

How many times can one apply for a 3month tourist visa?

Where is the best place to apply 3month visa ?

I know those are lots of question but i really want to do it easier than i did in Vietnam by myself.

Thank you all for your help.

There is no 3 month Tourist Visa, you would apply for a Tourist Visa that allows an entry of 60 days, and the stay can be extended 30 days.

Not sure why you would need a company to assist you, it's a matter of completing the application, and providing the supporting documents they request. However, the Consulate at Vientiane had people across the street that were providing assistance.

At a consulate or embassy in a neighboring country a single or double entry entry tourist visa will be issued with a validity of 3 months from the date of issue. All entries must be made during those three months. The visa is only a ticket to enter Thailand and therefore it is a "three month " tourist visa. It is a ticket to enter and you can use it anytime during the three month validity period!

Once you eneter Thailand you will get 60 days permission to stay which can be extended fo 30 days at immigration for 1900 baht. The stamp that you get in your passport when you enter gives you permission to stay and is not a visa and when you apply for and receive the 30 extra days it is an extension of your permission to stay not a visa extension!

Don't confuse the terminology! A visa is only a ticket to enter, the stamp that you get when you enter is your permissision to stay.

It seems that currently the best and most convenient places to obtain a new visa, either single or double entry, is currently Laos, either Vientianne or Savannakhet. You will have to spend at least one night in Laos as the applications are submitted in the morning of day 1 and picked up in the afternoon of day 2. There are services that provide everything advertised on google but most folks do it themselves.

There are no 3 month tourist visas .

What exactly are you looking for ?

A single-entry tourist visa is generally valid for travel to Thailand within three months from its issue date, but some consulates give it a validity of 90 days. I have have both kinds, even from the same consulate.

Forget KL. They are now asking for tickets out and financial proof that includes a letter from an employer.

Penang is OK but will only be a single entry.

Both locations in Laos issue 2 entry visas.

Hi Kurita

The embassy has a website with all the info on tourist visas - you can also download a visa application form from there. Sorry can't help with a visa run company - you might try one of the local English rags for a contact number.

Good luck

You just need copies of your passport photo page and Lao visa/entry stamp.

A completed application with 2 attached photos.

Thank you ubonjoe, i have another question. I thought about doing a multi entry tourist visa in Vientiane and an education visa after that. I would like to know if it is possible to apply for the education visa before the expiration of my tourist visa (maybe even during my first entry)?

Do I have to show financial statement or ongoing ticket to apply for a double entry tourist visa in Laos ?

Thank you

There is no multiple entry tourist visa.they are done by the number of entries. You can get a 2 entry in Vientiane.

You can go to school on a tourist visa entry so you could just wait until your entry runs out. If your visa is still valid they will cancel it you apply for non-ed visa.

You do not need to show tickets or financial proof in Vientiane.
